Last evening at about 11:41 p.m., State Police from the Charlton Barracks responded to a single vehicle rollover crash on Route 90 west at the 55.5 mile marker in Ludlow which resulted in a fatality.

Preliminary information collected in the investigation by Trooper Fred Geiger indicates that a 2006 Lincoln Zephyr was traveling Route 90 west when, for reasons still under investigation, the operator and sole occupant, Brian Dee, 58 of Agawam, lost control of the vehicle, causing the vehicle to rollover into the wood line.  As a result of the crash, Dee was ejected from the vehicle. Dee was transported by ambulance to Bay State Medical Center in Springfield where he was pronounced deceased.

The crash remains under investigation with assistance from members of the State Police Analysis and Reconstruction Section. State Police were also assisted on scene by Ludlow Fire and EMS.
