Massachusetts State Police Media Release – 05152018 – State Police arrest two for heroin and cocaine trafficking in Chelmsford
On Saturday, May 12, 2018, State Police arrested two Keene, N.H. men for trafficking in heroin and cocaine on Route 495 Southbound, in the area of exit two, in Chelmsford.
Trooper Patrick O’Keefe was on patrol when he observed a 2005 Toyota Sequoia travel over the lane markings. He pulled the vehicle over and, following a subsequent investigation, discovered a large quantity of substances believed to be heroin (approximately 40 grams) and cocaine (approximately 66 grams) in the vehicle.
Trooper O’Keefe arrested the driver, SCOTT PRATT, 31, and his passenger, TY FOWLER, 31, both of Keene, N.H. on the following charges:
1. Trafficking in Heroin
2. Trafficking in Cocaine
3. Possession of an Open Container of Alcohol in a Motor Vehicle
PRATT was additionally cited for a Marked Lanes violation and FOWLER was cited for Failure to Wear a Seatbelt.
Both men were booked at the State Police Barracks in Concord and arraigned in Lowell District Court on Monday.
