Two Men Arrested for Trafficking Cocaine after Motor Vehicle Stop in Milton

January 15, 2019 – Last night at about 8:30 p.m., Trooper Kyle Reed stopped a Toyota Camry on Blue Hills Parkway in Milton for motor vehicle violations and arrested its occupants for trafficking cocaine, among other charges.

As a result of an investigation conducted by Trooper Reed, with assistance from Trooper John Dailey, the operator, was identified as, BRAYAN VILLAR, 20, of Roslindale. His passenger, who initially provided a false name, was identified as JOHAN FIGUEROA-RIVERA, 31, of Boston and placed under arrest for an active default warrant.

As a result of a search of the motor vehicle, 19 clear plastic bags containing a white powdery substance consistent with cocaine weighing 25 grams was located.  VILLAR was placed under arrest and both parties were transported to the Milton Barracks where they were booked. Bail was denied for FIGUEROA-RIVERA and set at $100,000 for VILLAR.

VILLAR was charged with:

1. Trafficking Cocaine;

2. Conspiracy to Violate the Drug Laws;

3. Marked Lanes Violation; and

4. Speeding.

FIGUEROA-RIVERA was charged with:

1. Trafficking Cocaine;

2. Conspiracy to Violate the Drug Laws;

3. Possess/Use False/Stole RMV Documents; and

4. Furnish False Name and/or Social Security number. 

Trooper Brian Galvin and his K9 Maximus assisted with a search of the motor vehicle.
