Massachusetts State Police Media Release – 05212015 – State Police Investigate Crash Involving Cyclist at Neponset Circle in Boston
At about 4:30 p.m. today, State Police from the South Boston barracks responded to a crash involving a vehicle and a bicyclist at Neponset Circle in Boston. Information collected in the investigation by Trooper Ryan McLeod indicates that a 53-year-old woman from Quincy was traveling in Neponset Circle in her 2012 Subaru Forester when she struck and drove over a bicyclist who was also traveling in the circle.
The bicyclist, a 46-year-old man from Dorchester, was transported to Boston Medical Center for treatment of serious injuries. The operator of the Subaru was uninjured in the crash.
The cause of this crash remains under investigation. No charges have been filed at this time.
