Death Investigation Ongoing After Body Located on Carson Beach in South Boston

Massachusetts State Police Troopers responded to Carson Beach on Day Boulevard, South Boston, after the body of an adult female was found shortly before 7 AM.

The investigation by the State Police Detective Unit for Suffolk County, State Police Crime Scene Services, and Troop H into the death is underway. The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner has accepted jurisdiction of the decedent and will perform an autopsy.

No further information is being released at this time.
