Frankie: A Final Salute

Massachusetts State Police K9 Frankie, who gave his life in courageous service to his team and the Commonwealth, was honored on May 11 at the National Police Dog Memorial Service in Washington, D.C. A Belgian Malinois assigned with his partner Sergeant David Stucenski to the MSP’s Special Tactical Operations Team, Frankie was fatally shot while trying to apprehend a violent fugitive in Fitchburg on July 26, 2022.
