UPDATE #2-Homicide Suspect’s Vehicle Located in Gardner Woods, Search for AARON PENNINGTON Ongoing

UPDATE #2

The Worcester District Attorney’s Office, Massachusetts State Police, and Gardner Police announced that investigators last night located AARON PENNINGTON’s BMW in a wooded area at Camp Collier in Gardner. 


After a perimeter was established around the car, the Massachusetts State Police Special Tactical Operations (STOP) Team determined that the car was unoccupied. After clearing the car, STOP Troopers, MSP K9 Unit teams and the MSP Air Wing conducted a search of the surrounding wooded area and did not locate PENNINGTON. 


Search operations in furtherance of the ongoing investigation resume at that location today. 


No further information is being released at this time. The District Attorney’s office and police will update on the results of today’s operation when appropriate to do so. 


PENNINGTON, 33, is suspected in the murder of his wife Breanne Pennington, 30, at their Cherry Street home on Sunday.


PENNINGTON is white, 6’2” tall and approximately 175 lbs., with blond hair and blue eyes. His last known address is 42 Cherry St., Gardner.

PENNINGTON may be armed with a firearm. He should be considered armed and dangerous.

Any member of the public who sees PENNINGTON is directed to not approach him but rather, to call 911 immediately.
