MSP, Essex DA, Andover and Tewksbury Police Seeking Information on 1973 Homicide of Judith Cadorette


The Essex County District Attorney's Office, the Massachusetts State Police, the Andover Police Department, and the Tewksbury Police Department are requesting any information regarding the July 1973 homicide of Judith (Merenda) Cadorette.


Ms. Cadorette was last seen on July 2, 1973 at the Holiday Inn near Routes 38 and 495 in Tewksbury. Her body was discovered on July 6, 1973 in a wooded area near the ramp from Route 93 South to Route 133 West in Andover. This route leads directly to Tewksbury.


Ms. Cadorette was 19 years old with long dark hair and had poor eyesight. She frequented the 495 drive-in movie theatre, Holiday Inn lounge, and Pewter Pot restaurant in Tewksbury.
