UPDATE: Silver Alert Issued for Henry Appleton, Last Seen in Amherst

The Hadley Police Department is attempting to locate Henry "Hank" APPLETON. APPLETON was originally seen at the Courtyard Marriott (423 Russell Street) in Hadley, MA at approximately 0200 hours on 18 July 2023. APPLETON was attempting to get a cab to Northampton before he left the hotel on foot. APPLETON was last seen at Amherst College on Dickinson Street at approximately 0432 hours on 18 July 2023. APPLETON does not have a cell phone with him and is not operating a motor vehicle.

APPLETON is a 72-year-old white male. APPLETON is described as a 5'10 tall, white male, weighing approximately 190 lbs. APPLETON suffers from serious memory impairment.

APPLETON was last seen wearing a navy-blue shirt with white flower outlines that has a tear on one of the sides, dark shorts and hiking footwear.
