The Massachusetts State Police are hiring civilian Public Safety Dispatchers for State Police Operations. As Dispatcher Costanzo explains here, these professionals monitor, receive, review, and transmit emergency and law enforcement-related communications. Dispatchers help coordinate certain law enforcement actions taken by personnel in the field, such as deployment of specialized assets requested by incident commanders, while also researching information for investigations.
