Massachusetts State Police Concludes Months-Long Investigation in Springfield

On June 26, 2026, members of the Massachusetts State Police Commonwealth Interstate Narcotics Reduction Enforcement Team (CINRET) West culminated a months-long investigation in Springfield. Two search warrants were conducted as part of the operation and resulted in the seizure of:

 4 loaded firearms

Approximately 730 grams of cocaine

Approximately 145 grams and 2,600 bags of a suspected heroin/fentanyl mixture

More than 100 rounds of ammunition

A large sum of U.S. currency

These seizures reflect the ongoing commitment of the Massachusetts State Police, CINRET West, and its law enforcement partners to removing illegal drugs and firearms from our communities.
