MSP Marine Unit, US Coast Guard, Partner Agencies Train in Maritime Active Shooter Response

The Massachusetts State Police Marine Unit, along with the United States Coast Guard and other law enforcement and port operations partners today conducted a Joint Maritime Active Shooter Training Exercise in Boston Harbor. Personnel trained in responding to a scenario replicating an active shooter on a ferry. Our tactical and specialized units regularly train with our partner agencies in response procedures for critical incidents and criminal and terrorist threats.
