PHOTO RELEASE: Family Donates Stuffed Animals to Cheer Up Children Involved in Stressful Incidents

On Monday, Mr. John Cummings and his one of his daughters visited the State Police-Middleboro Barracks to donate three large bags of stuffed animals for Troopers to give to children who are involved in traumatic incidents such as car crashes or medical calls. The toys, which road Troopers will give out to calm and cheer up children who are upset following an incident, were donated by John’s two daughters (one of whom was unable to attend the visit because she was in school). The visit was arranged by John’s friend, Trooper Paul Courcy. We are deeply grateful to John and his family for their generosity and concern for the wellness of young children we encounter in our daily work. Seen in the photos are John and his daughter with Sgt. Christopher Meleo, Trooper Carly Viscardi, and MSP comfort dog Margaux.
