Failure to Stop for Police Ends with Arrest in East Boston

On 08/10/2026, the New Hampshire State Police advised they were tracking a stolen motor vehicle that had failed to stop for Troopers. Troopers from the Andover Barracks attempted to stop the vehicle; but the suspect vehicle continued on, and was later spotted in Boston.  A Massachusetts State Police unmarked cruiser later located the vehicle emerging from the Callahan Tunnel and Troop F cruisers ultimately apprehended the operator. He had provided a false name and date of birth and was found to have active New Hampshire warrants and no license. He was taken into custody for charges including Failure to Stop for Police, Larceny of a Motor Vehicle, Unlicensed Operation, and Providing False Information.

 

Erratic Operator Charged with 3rd OUI Offense

On 08/07/2026, the desk officer at the Lee Barracks received calls regarding an erratic vehicle operating on Interstate 90 in Stockbridge which nearly struck other cars. A Trooper observed the vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed and was unable to maintain lanes. The Trooper conducted a motor vehicle stop.  The operator displayed signs of heavy alcohol impairment and had a revoked license for operating under the influence (OUI). The operator was subsequently taken into custody and charged with OUI 3rd Offense, Speeding, and Marked Lanes violations.

 

Individual Flees Traffic Stop and is Taken into Custody

On 08/06/2026, a Trooper investigated a marked-lanes violation and near head-on collision in Wareham. After the Trooper had stopped the vehicle, the operator fled into the woods and was later located hiding in a van. She was found to have three active warrants. She was taken into custody and booked at the Bourne Barracks. Her charges include Fail to Stop for Police, Operating with a Suspended License and Refusing to Identify.

 

Trooper Locates Stolen Vehicle and Arrests Operator

On 08/07/2026, a Trooper on patrol in Boston identified a vehicle that was reported stolen earlier in the night, allegedly at gunpoint. The Trooper coordinated a stop with Boston Police; the juvenile operator was taken into custody without incident, booked at the Milton Barracks and charged with Receiving a Stolen Motor Vehicle, and Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle.
