Last month, U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Massachusetts hosted the 2024 Law Enforcement Awards ceremony, an annual event recognizing over 100 federal, state, and local law enforcement personnel, as well as community leaders, for their exemplary contributions to federal prosecution. During this ceremony, Troopers Aaron Blanco, DeShawn Brown, Brendan Carnes, Feras Irqsusi, Joseph Diliegro, and Jack Louie, Sergeants Brian Estevez and Brendan Cain, and Lieutenant Shawn Riley were honored and awarded for their contributions to the Commonwealth of Massachusetts in 2023.
“Every successful case we prosecute is built on a foundation of tireless dedication by law enforcement professionals. They are the unsung heroes whose courage, persistence, and expertise form the foundation of our pursuit of justice,” said Acting United States Attorney Joshua S. Levy. “Their work often requires personal sacrifice and risk to their personal safety, yet they remain steadfast in their commitment to protect and serve the people of Massachusetts. It is through their relentless efforts that we are able to hold perpetrators accountable and deliver justice to victims. The Law Enforcement Awards allow us to formally recognize the extraordinary contributions of these men and women who help make our communities safer and stronger.”
We would like to congratulate the award recipients on a job well done!
