MSP, Partner Agencies Conduct Street Crime Enforcement in Holyoke

Numerous Massachusetts State Police assets on Wednesday, Oct. 11, 2023 participated with Holyoke Police and other agencies in Operation Holyoke Safe Streets, a saturated deployment to combat

violent crime, drug dealing, and other offenses.

MSP Troopers made 25 arrests and issued criminal summons to 29 other persons. Two people were charged with drug trafficking; Troopers seized an unlawfully possessed gun.

The above statistics reflect only MSP enforcement efforts, which lasted throughout the day until 10:30 PM. MSP units deployed during the operation included Troop B patrols and various investigative units.
